In 2013, fate struck! For both of us it was the first day at university and by chance we sat next to each other in the lecture hall. Since then, we have become inseparable and best friends. We knew early on that we wanted to set up something special together.

The idea to enter the world of baby furniture came with the birth of our children. As if it wasn't enough fate, Ayla and Ilyas were born on the same day! For this reason we decided to merge our names and create Ilayla.

Baby cribs were our first choice, as we ourselves were looking for not only functional, but also stylish and high quality baby cribs. Unfortunately, we did not find anything that met our requirements. So it was obvious that we have to be active ourselves and create something. And we did it!

Our products must be made of sustainable materials, especially free of plastic. We quickly realized that rattan is the perfect solution and a better alternative to wood. Rattan is a rapidly renewable resource and perfect for our concept.
